Yeshna Jain is a delightful child. She came from what they call a "culturally enriched" background. Her sibling was very smart. Yeshna was attractive and charming but she used to face problem in copying from board and books, had poor handwriting and below average reading, writing skills. Yeshna's teacher advised her parents to not to push her and convinced them for an assessment. She was then referred to Our Team for evaluation and was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). Yeshna had great trouble in school but parents weren’t ready to accept that their child has this problem.
Our team conducted a few meetings with the parents and made them understand the importance of therapies and their support. After through lots and bits of efforts, parents accepted and supported her therapy program. With the help of OT she recovered from her vestibular insecurities and fine motor issues and simultaneously Remedial Therapy helped her to gain positive inputs in her academic areas. As she was progressing well and started showing great outcomes from therapies. hopefully, she will use her achieved progress and do well in future. We wish her a Good Luck.
